US Naval Academy Baptist Student Union
Welcome
The Baptist Student Union, or BSU is a worldwide student organization devoted to helping students live their lives for Jesus Christ. BSU has been an active ministry here at the US Naval Academy for nearly 35 years.
Basically we have three objectives:
1. To help students to personally accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
2. To help students grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ
3. To encourage students to become involved in a local church.
While we are financially supported by Baptist churches, we would like to emphasize that you do not have to be Baptist or even a Christian to come and be a part of BSU.

PASSION FOR GOD, COMPASSION FOR STUDENTS!
How does BSU help students to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ? We accomplish this in two primary ways:
1. Through regular study of God's Word.
2. Through opportunities for the students to take on leadership responsibilities and as a result to learn and grow through "hands-on" experience.
In applying this, BSU emphasizes ministries such as Bible study, prayer, worship, evangelism, mission trips, local mission projects, retreats, discipleship, fellowships, and involvement in local area churches.
SO.... How Do I Get Involved In BSU?????
One of the best ways to know more about BSU and how to get involved is to fill out one of the bright blue interest cards and turn it in. This gives us an opportunity to know what you are interested in. As a result of this, other people in BSU will contact you and give you more information about particular areas of ministry. Attending our regular weekly events, such as our Tuesday night worship, Saturday events, prayer meetings, and weekly Bible studies will also help you find a place in BSU!
