Timothy Barry

Biography

Tim is a 20-year Navy veteran who rounded out his career teaching Physics at USNA and volunteer coaching with the Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership. He participated in the inaugural Associate Fellows program to hone his leadership skills and to develop functional relationships across the Yard. The bonds of friendship he forged with the cohort have continued through the years as a result of the trust and values fostered through the program. Tim now lives in Michigan with his family and founded the leadership consultancy and coaching firm, GritWork Academy.

Adam Susmarski

Biography

Dr. Susmarski served as the Brigade Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Department Head and Director of the USNA Concussion Center of Excellence at USNA. He accepted his nomination to the Stockdale Leadership Fellows program with open arms as the opportunity to continue to develop as a leader and work hand to hand with some of the best and brightest throughout USNA was too good of an opportunity to pass up. The experiences, camaraderie, and lessons learned throughout the year were unmatched and the things we were able to accomplish as a team on the Yard through these forged relationships were amazing to see come to fruition for the betterment of the Midshipmen and culture at USNA.
