Anti-Terrorism
Shipboard security is a 24/7 effort by all hands and includes preventing and responding to bomb threats, active shooters, and pier penetrations.

Aviation
Helicopters and fixed wing aircraft aboard surface ships provide a lethal punch in a wide array of missions from Search and Rescue to Anti-Submarine Warfare.
DIVISION OFFICER OPPORTUNITY: Get qualified as a Helicopter Control Officer onboard your ship to communicate with and ultimately LAND aircraft!

Damage Control
Damage Control provides peace of mind to every Sailor onboard that if a casualty arises, the crew knows how to save the ship.
DIVISION OFFICER OPPORTUNITY: DON'T GIVE UP THE SHIP and lead Sailors in fighitng fire, flooding, toxic gas, and chemical biological radiological - nuclear emergencies onboard as a Damage Control Repair Locker Leader!


Navigation and Seamanship
Operating out to sea for extended periods of time is one of the US Navy's strongest capabilities; in order to do so, the ship and crew must be proficient in ALL things navigation, including opearting in accordance with the USCG Rules of the Road, underway replenishments, small boat operations, and man overboard drills.
DIVISION OFFICER OPPORTUNITY: Qualify as a Small Boat Officer and be the leader for a plethora of operations onboard 7M and 11M small boats.
Search and Rescue
Life out at sea is inherently dangerous and could result in a man overboard. The Search and Rescue program on each ship enables each crew to safely recover their fellow Sailor if such situation arises.
