Graduate School Opportunities

A multitude of scholarship programs to make it possible for USNA students to seek graduate education or professional education immediately following their graduation and commissioning but prior to their deployment in the fleet. These programs include:

  • Voluntary Graduate Education Program (VGEP)
  • Immediate Graduate Education Program (IGEP)
  • Navy Burke Scholar Program
  • Bowman Scholar Program (for those selecting into the Nuclear Navy including submarine or surface warfare)
  • Shoemaker ("Aviator Stash") Scholar Program (for those selecting into Naval Aviation)
  • Navy Medical/Dental Corps Billets
